COVID-19 Guidelines for Clients:

I am delighted to announce that from W/C Monday 13th July, I will be able to resume offering treatments.  However, while this is the case, it is not business as usual, as due to the COVID-19 crisis, I have had to put extra measures in place to ensure the safety of myself and my clients.  Please read the following information carefully prior to your appointment so you are familiar with the changes being made.  Please also keep checking back regualrly to keep up to date with any changes, as it is likely these measures will have to alter slightly due to the ever-evolving government guidance.

FOR IN-CLINIC APPOINTMENTS:

What I will do:

  • Wear appropriate PPE

  • Leave extra time between clients to allow cleaning of surfaces

  • Open doors for clients so the client can avoid touching handles

  • Close the seating area in the waiting room, and if possible, we would like to limit the use of the toilet by patients

  • Provide hand sanitiser for myself and clients to use at the start and end of each appointment

  • Prior to treatment, assessments where possible will conducted while socially distanced, and PPE will still be in plac

What the Patient will need to do:

  • Wear a face covering e.g. a mask or scarf (this needs to cover your nose and mouth)

  • Please do not attend if you or any member of your household have tested positive for COVID-19, or are displaying symptoms (i.e. a new continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss of smell or taste).  Please let me know if you need to cancel

  • Please do not schedule an appointment if you or a member of your household are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 and are considered high risk (you will have received a government letter)

  • Wait outside the clinic when waiting for your appointment (I will come and get you at the appointment time)

  • Please do not arrive too early for your appointment, as this will increase the risk of coming into contact with other patients

  • Please attend your appointment alone, unless a chaperone is required

  • If you can, please avoid the need to change your clothes after arriving at the clinic – please shower and change at home if possible

  • You will need to fill out a health questionnaire prior to the appointment.  I will have hard copies available with me on the day, however if you would like to save time during the session, I will be giving all patients the opportunity to print this off and fill it in prior to the appointment.  This is available to download via the link below, or alternatively I can email it to you

  • Patients need to be aware that their details may be forwarded to NHS Track and Trace if necessary

FOR MOBILE APPOINTMENTS:

What I will do:

  • Wear appropriate PPE

  • Clean the couch before and after the appointment

  • Provide hand sanitiser for myself and clients to use at the start and end of each appointment

What the Patient will need to do:

  • Wear a face covering e.g. a mask or scarf (this needs to cover your nose and mouth)

  • Please do not allow the appointment to take place if you or any member of your household have tested positive for COVID-19, or are displaying symptoms.  Please let me know if you need to cancel

  • Please do not schedule an appointment if you or a member of your household are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 and are considered high risk (you will have received a government letter)

  • Ensure the house is clean prior to my arrival (particularly the areas and surfaces I will be more likely to come into contact with)

  • If possible, try to limit the amount of other people in the house at the time of the appointment, particularly in the area where I will be working

  • *Please note that for the time being I will only be performing sports taping during in-clinic appointments, and not while mobile
